A specialty practice with a seat at the table.

If you're a licensed psychologist who values evidence-based care, lifelong learning, and the idea of building a niche within a practice that's invested in your growth — we are looking for you.

About Tella Psychology

Tella Psychology is a boutique private practice serving adolescents and adults through in-person care in Dallas and telehealth services across PSYPACT states. We specialize in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety disorders, trauma, OCD-spectrum concerns, perfectionism, and stress-related conditions.

Founded in 2020, Tella Psychology grew out of years of training and experience in academic medical settings, where collaborative, evidence-based, and whole-person care were central values. Those experiences shaped our belief that effective therapy is not only about using the right techniques, but also about having the time, flexibility, and creativity to tailor treatment to each person's unique needs and goals.

That philosophy continues to guide how we practice. When clients in the Dallas area struggled to find opportunities for in-person social anxiety treatment, we created a skills-based group program. When access to evidence-based treatment for insomnia remained limited, we worked on developing an asynchronous CBT-I program to provide greater flexibility and accessibility. Rather than waiting for the perfect resource to exist, we are committed to building thoughtful solutions that help clients and clinicians thrive.

At Tella Psychology, we value curiosity, innovation, lifelong learning, and compassionate, evidence-based care. We believe great therapy should be both deeply human and grounded in science, and we are continually looking for new ways to expand access and meet the evolving needs of our community.

Hiring for a Psychologist
Hybrid · Dallas, TX · Full-time

We are seeking a licensed psychologist or license-eligible PhD/PsyD to join Tella Psychology as a full-time clinician. This is not an associate-level or supervised hours position — we are looking for someone who is ready to carry a caseload, contribute to the practice, and grow within it.

This position offers the opportunity to join an established specialty private-pay practice while maintaining a manageable caseload (18-20 clients) and healthy work-life balance. We intentionally maintain lower productivity expectations than many healthcare and group practice settings because we believe excellent clinical work requires time for documentation, consultation, professional development, and thoughtful treatment planning. You'll receive referrals from an established network, have opportunities to develop your niche, participate in the development of innovative treatment programs, and build a career that aligns with your professional interests.

A significant portion of referrals involve insomnia and sleep-related concerns. Prior CBT-I experience is welcomed but not required; however, candidates should be excited to develop competency in CBT-I through consultation, mentorship, and specialized training.
